“When the scarves fall” – Shadi Amin in the Dresden Pride

The “When the Scarves Fall” program was hosted by the pride parade committee of Dresden, Germany, on June 15, 2023, at 19:00 (local time).

Shadi Amin, Executive Director  6rang (Iranian Lesbian and Transgender Network), gave a speech in this program and answered the audience’s questions. This meeting was attended by several officials of “C. S. D ” Germany and city activists. It was held and discussed the situation of the LGBT+ community in Iran and the policies of the German government concerning the Women Life Freedom revolution and its shortcomings.

The meeting was fruitful and promising and continued until more than the appointed time.

This type of meeting dramatically helps with our cooperation at the city and country level. It increases the visibility of sexual and gender minorities in free countries with facilities. We hope these meetings will help improve the international community’s awareness about the demands of the LGBT+ community in Iran.
