The final statement of the collective meeting of Geneva – November 4, 2023<\/span><\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the Iranian people’s revolutionary uprising, the demands of various groups oppressed and discriminated against in Iran have become the focus of the current political debate.<\/span><\/p>\n

Since the beginning of the Iranian people’s revolutionary uprising, the demands of various groups oppressed and discriminated against in Iran have become the focus of the current political debate.<\/span><\/p>\n

The struggles of the Baloch people and the Kurdish people played a significant role in projecting ethnic demands and marginalized people, women’s demands for rights, and directions for their rights, revealing the denied parts of Iranian society, such as the LGBTQ+ community and many other layers of discrimination.<\/span><\/p>\n

Although this hopeful uprising has not yet achieved victory, at this stage, it has achieved many successes in injecting hope and courage into society, as well as changing the severe attitude towards women’s and political-civil rights.<\/span><\/p>\n

Accordingly:<\/span><\/p>\n

We, the participants in the joint meeting in Geneva, on the necessity of cooperation and collective cooperation to raise the voices that are missing in the society of Iran, raise the demands of various ethnicities, from the problems of the Arab people to the Baloch, Kurds, Turks, Turkmen and all those who are part of the national identity, ethnic and Either their individuality has been denied, or they have been subjected to discrimination and oppression based on that, we press on.<\/span><\/p>\n

We invite all human rights organisations and other activists in various fields to pay attention to the inclusiveness of human rights and to determine their programs, regulations, policies and campaign steps.<\/span><\/p>\n

This should create a safe space for all people, regardless of religious affiliation and belief or non-belief, sexual orientation and gender identity, ethnicity or disability, age, level of education, and other differences.<\/span><\/p>\n

Education and the use of available resources for enlightenment and awareness as the first step is the duty of all of us. We hope that in the coming period, with each other’s participation, we can express the intertwining of these discriminations and try to solve it.<\/span><\/p>\n
